Lucie Kim

Lucie Kim is an artist whose ongoing 'Wake Up/ Make Up' project, started in 2003, photographs women immediately after they wake and again after they put on make-up. The project examines the gap between private and public appearance. She took part in the AIR 3331 artist-in-residence program in Tokyo, where she extended the project with more than 10 women living in the Tokyo region. Her residency ran from September 5 to September 24, 2011.
