Lucy Siyao Liu

Lucy Siyao Liu is a Canadian artist who was an artist-in-residence at DRAWinternational in Caylus, France, in 2016. Her residency ended with an open studio on 28 July 2016. She works mainly in drawing, including drawing combined with animation, and describes drawing as both a research method and her main medium. Her work links natural systems with systems of representation. Her residency page says her background is in architecture and urban planning, and that she approaches drawing first as a drawer before an architect or designer.
