Luís Fernandes

Luís Fernandes is a Portuguese musician and sound artist. He has worked as a solo artist and in many projects, with credits on about 60 recordings according to the museum's page. He is a founding member of peixe : avião. His work covers composition for theatre, dance, film, video and installations. Credits include the film Mahjong by João Pedro Rodrigues and João Rui Guerra da Mata, and a commission with Rodrigo Leão for a Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation work. In 2025 he was one of the artists in the inaugural programme of Museu Zer0, where he developed and presented Aural Device #2, a generative sound work.
