Luke Levi

Luke Levi is a poet, novelist, photographer, and essayist who lives outside Austin, Texas, and works as a copywriter and copyeditor. Writing under the name Luke Levi, Lucas Schmidt was born in 1993 and grew up partly in San Antonio. He writes nature-focused poems, often haiku, that combine the natural world with human experience. Levi holds a finance degree from Texas State University and has been a finalist for two awards for the poetry book So Fragile Are the Beautiful Things. He appeared in Humana Obscura as a poet in Issue 2 and in the Issue 15 contributor list, and was featured as a poet in Issue 3.
