Maggie Wong

Maggie Wong (born 1988, Oakland, California) is a visual artist whose multidisciplinary work, often sculptural, focuses on care labor, sentimentality, and collectivity. She holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and teaches at SAIC. In 2022 she was Educator-in-Residence at The Luminary in St. Louis. Her solo exhibition UNITY at the Chinese American Museum of Chicago in 2023 reworked newsprint from the archive of the radical newspaper Unity.
