Maija Laurinen

Maija Laurinen is a visual artist based in Nurmes, Finland, who works with installations, still and moving image, sound, light, text and the passage of time. Her practice asks open-ended questions about phenomena that escape human perception. She was a resident at KulttuuriKauppila, and her 2015 solo show Night Palette, made with Michal Czinege, was held there.
