MANNY PADERNOS

Manny Padernos is an installation artist who works with paper and twine, drawing on Filipino banig weaving and his personal history. His themes include displacement, migration, and memory. Before turning to art, he worked as an interior designer for 18 years. He completed his MFA at the New York Studio School in 2018 and was an artist in residence at Chashama North between 2017 and 2019.
