Margaret O Brien

Margaret O'Brien is an Irish visual artist who makes installations combining sculpture, live sound, light, moving image and kinetics. Her work explores failure through material experiments that often operate in a state of malfunction or instability. She trained at Limerick School of Art, the Slade School of Art and Trinity College Dublin, and works from Liverpool, Manchester and Ennis. She has been associated with Interface as an artist in residence.
