María Gabriela Merlinsky

María Gabriela Merlinsky is an Argentine sociologist and senior researcher at CONICET, based at the Gino Germani Research Institute. For about twenty years she has studied environmental conflict and climate politics in Latin America. She was a 2025 scholar in residence at A Studio in the Woods in New Orleans, where she worked on a book with Tulane scholar Amalia Leguizamón.
