Maria P. Vila

Maria P. Vila is a Chilean artist working across installation and literature, with projects built around participants as co-creators. Her work often draws on personal memories gathered from the public. She was a Field Projects resident in summer 2021, where she completed HABITĀR, a sonic work about the pandemic that she rendered as a printed, stamp-based manuscript. Field Projects also launched the first book from her long-running SECRETO project in October 2022.
