María Platero

María Platero is a Spanish photographer based in Madrid whose work questions the protocols and conventions that shape daily life and our urge to measure things. She has worked as a teacher, editor and curator, including for Fanzine 10x15 and Input Art Magazine. She was an artist-in-residence at KulttuuriKauppila in Ii, Finland, in July 2018, where she led an artist walk and picnic exploring the concept of displacement.
