Marianne Hoffmeister Castro

Marianne Hoffmeister Castro is a Chilean artist based in the United States who works with drawing, film and video, artist's books, and experimental writing. Her practice examines how nonhuman animals and nature are represented in Western visual culture. She was a studio resident at Bibliothek Andreas Züst in Switzerland in November 2018, where she wrote a short text titled "The Cow's Path".
