Marianne Shaneen

Marianne Shaneen is a writer of fiction, essays, and poetry who also works in documentary video. She holds an MFA in writing from the Bard Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts. She was an artist-in-residence at Tusen Takk Foundation in 2021 and 2022. Her fiction 'The Mason Jar' appeared in The Kenyon Review in 2020, and her work has been published in Bomb, The Brooklyn Rail, and Monstrous Adaptations. Her chapbook Lucent Amnesis came out from Portable Press/Yo-Yo Labs. She is finishing a first novel, Homing.
