Marita van Rooyen

Marita van Rooyen is a Namibian journalist, writer, photographer and activist based in Windhoek. Her artistic practice revisits early photographic printing methods to blend old storytelling traditions with present-day realities. She completed an MA in Documentary Photography at the University of South Wales and is a Chevening alumnus. She took part in a residency at Atelier Austmarka in Norway in 2014.
