Marta Simeón

Marta Simeón is a Spanish visual artist working mainly in contemporary engraving, with additional practice in papermaking, ceramics and educational art. She was a resident at arthereistanbul, where she incorporated the Turkish Ebru technique into her research. Her series Akan Canavarlar uses playful, symbolic monsters to explore the hidden and contradictory sides of human nature. A solo exhibition of the same name opened in Kadıköy, Istanbul, in September 2025.
