Masanori Matsuda

Masanori Matsuda is a Japanese artist born in Hyogo in 1982. His practice centres on light, sunlight, and the idea of a 'place' to return to, a theme linked to his family home being destroyed in the 1995 Great Hanshin Earthquake. He was an Autumn 2017 artist in residence at Interface in Connemara, Ireland, where he studied sunlight during November.
