Matea Bakula

Matea Bakula is a visual artist born in Sarajevo in 1990 who moved with her family to the Netherlands as a small child. She works in sculpture using everyday materials such as cardboard, PU foam, rubber and plexiglass protective film. She lives and works in Utrecht and is represented by Lumen Travo in Amsterdam. She was a resident at KAMEN Artist Residency in Bosnia-Herzegovina in 2019.
