Matt McBride

Matt McBride is a poet whose collection At the Mercy of the Flies was published by Half Mystic Press in 2026. The book draws on his experiences with depression and the 2016 U.S. presidential election. He is the author of City of Incandescent Light (Black Lawrence, 2018) and several chapbooks, and he has won the James Tate Prize, the St. Lawrence Book Award, and the Ohio Chapbook Award.
