Matteo Valerio

Matteo Valerio is a sculptor and visual artist born in 1989 in Tampa, USA. He trained at the Venice Academy of Fine Arts and holds a Master's in Fine Arts from Central Saint Martins in London. His work examines the tension between manual and mechanised techniques and between traditional craft and industrial production. In spring 2023 he was a resident at Villa Filanda Antonini, where he presented the textile exhibition Teuta.
