Matthew Fogarty

Matthew Fogarty is a writer from Troy, Michigan, who holds an MFA from the University of South Carolina, where he edited Yemassee. He left a legal career to devote himself to writing. His short story collection Maybe Mermaids & Robots Are Lonely was published by Stillhouse Press in 2016 and named to Kirkus Reviews' Best Books of 2016. His fiction has appeared in journals including Passages North, PANK, and Midwestern Gothic.
