Matthew R. Davis

Matthew R. Davis is an Adelaide-based horror and dark fiction writer and musician who has published over eighty short stories. He has been recognized with a Shirley Jackson Award nomination, multiple Shadows Awards, and a Ditmar Award listing. He plays bass and sings in heavy rock and metal bands, including Blood Red Renaissance. His work appeared in The Black Beacon Book of Horror in 2023 with the story 'Ruby's Syzygy'. He is also working on a novel manuscript titled Desolation.
