McKenzie Phelps

McKenzie Phelps is a Nebraska-based artist and quilter who works in painting and fiber. Her practice uses traditional quilting alongside contemporary ideas about femininity, queerness, and performance. She was a resident artist at LUX Center for the Arts in Lincoln, Nebraska, and has shown at the Museum of Nebraska Art and the International Quilt Museum.
