Michael Jaime-Becerra

Michael Jaime-Becerra is a writer who grew up and lives in El Monte, California, and teaches creative writing at UC Riverside. His short-story collection Every Night Is Ladies' Night, set in El Monte, was published in 2004 and named one of the best of its year by The Washington Post and the San Francisco Chronicle. He had a story in the Spring 2009 issue of Santa Monica Review, an excerpt from a novel that was reported as forthcoming from St. Martin's Press.
