Miia Kettunen
Miia Kettunen is a Finnish visual artist who previously worked as a costume designer on art projects. In recent years she has worked mainly with different communities. Her projects often grow out of interaction with people and close attention to places and spaces. In 2020 she was a KulttuuriKauppila Artist-in-Community resident in Ii, where she made the environmental land art work Landshapes with pupils from Valtari school. The piece was part of the Art Ii Biennial that year. Her other community-based works include the Skogens dans relief in Hylte, Sweden, and a Tilan kasvot series made with participants in Pudasjärvi.
