Mike Mavura

Mike Mavura is a South African cultural producer and curator whose work combines indigenous knowledges, social science research and art practice around civics, spaces and design. He conceived and directs the Creative Exchange project at the Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography, which takes design students into cities such as Harare, Maputo and Durban. He was a resident at ZK/U Berlin in late 2021 through the TURN2 Residencies programme, and is also listed on ZK/U's Advisory Board.
