Milah van Zuilen

Milah van Zuilen is an artist who combines art and ecology through what she calls pseudo-scientific fieldwork. She gathers plant material, mostly leaves and bark, and arranges it into squares and grids. Her interest is in how humans impose order on landscapes. She was a resident at TUO TUO in Joutsa, Finland, in 2021 and appears in its 2022 residents list, where she made the installation 'Betulla spp.'.
