Miriam Josi

Miriam Josi is a Swiss-born, Paris-based designer and co-founder of Aléa Work, an experimental design and material research studio she started with Stella Lee Prowse in 2021. Her work centers on mycelium and bio-inclusive, regenerative fabrication. She won the 2021 Boisbuchet Residency Award from Domaine de Boisbuchet, where the studio grew its first underground myco-fabricated chair. She has since tutored several workshops at Domaine de Boisbuchet between 2022 and 2025.
