Moe Satt

Moe Satt is an artist born in Myanmar in 1983 who works mainly through performance, using their own body to explore identity, embodiment and political resistance. Their practice looks back at Burmese political history from 1983 to 2015. Satt was a resident at Kunsthuis SYB in Beetsterzwaag in 2026, where they also led a workshop on finger and face gestures. The 2024 book f n' f describes a choreography of 108 face-and-finger combinations.
