Moe Yoshida

Moe Yoshida is a Japanese director and actress born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1999. Her work seeks new body forms and links between bodies and environments. She has performed with Sanmaikumie, Ikuko Sekita, and marebito theater company. Yoshida's recent directed works include "Wall or Stone, Flat Medium" (2020/2024), an archive and practice of people who mediumize their bodies, and "Still Life" (2022), a study of memories held in the body. In 2024 she was an artist-in-residence at Kinosaki International Arts Center, researching a new performance called "Vacance" on the "vacational body" in an onsen town.
