Mohau Modisakeng

Mohau Modisakeng is a South African artist born in Soweto in 1986 who works across film, photography, sculpture and performance. He lives and works between Johannesburg and Cape Town. His work examines South Africa's violent history and the black body in post-apartheid and post-colonial contexts. He has been listed as a resident at the NIROX Foundation, a sculpture park at the Cradle of Humankind.
