Moises Salazar Tlatenchi

Moises Salazar Tlatenchi is a non-binary, first-generation Mexican American artist based in Chicago. Their work, often made with glitter, yarn, and oil paint, depicts queer and immigrant bodies as faceless stand-ins for queer Latinx youth. They hold a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. They were a 2022 artist-in-residence at the Fire Island Artist Residency.
