Monica Loncola

Monica Loncola is an artist and illustrator whose work focuses on nature, particularly marine life and the coastal environment. She works in series and combines digital and traditional media. Her stated goal is to encourage curiosity and conservation of natural resources. She was a resident at Anima Casa Rural in 2023, a residency on a permaculture farm in Guadalajara, Mexico, where she documented the life of the landscape. Her site also lists a 2022 residency at Chanorth and a 2024 residency with the Western Flyer Foundation.
