Monireh Askari

Monireh Askari is a freelance artist, researcher and urban designer born in Isfahan, Iran. Her practice spans art, graphic design, urban design, and media including photo, video, collage, diagrams, texts and interactive sculpture. Her work often draws on propaganda, media, history and futuristic imagery. She has been a creative director and a main member of the first Fab-Lab in Isfahan since 2017. In May 2018 she was a research resident at ZK/U Berlin, where she focused on collective living and shared spaces and presented work at the Openhaus May event.
