Naira Pennacchi

Naira Pennacchi is a visual artist who has worked since 2016, mainly in painting but also in video, object, installation, drawing and sound. She lives and works between Ribeirão Preto in Brazil and Lisbon. She is a permanent artist at Duplex AIR in Lisbon, and her work is part of the Hard Water, Soft Stone group show opening there on 16 September 2026. Her practice draws on vernacular culture, ecological preservation and folk knowledge, using bright colour to build an intimate landscape. In April 2025 she launched a book bearing her name with Editora Martins Fontes, gathering roughly ten years of work.
