Naoki MAEDA

Naoki Maeda is a Japanese ceramic artist born in 1977 in Fujieda. He trained in Kyoto Uji and Shigaraki after studying environmental design at Osaka Sangyo University. Since 2016 he has directed the Fujieda Ceramic Art Center. He was an artist in residence at A.I.R. Vallauris in France in June 2013, and his work has been shown in Vallauris, Finland, Italy, Hungary, Taiwan and China. He also gives lectures and works as a ceramic communicator as well as a studio artist.
