Naomi Cook

Naomi Cook is a Montreal and Paris-based artist, born in 1982, whose work draws on engraving, sound, and visualizations of data. She studied Art and Philosophy at Concordia University. Her practice often maps data such as stock trading and GPS movements. She was an artist-in-residence at Ada X's Studio XX in Montreal in 2017, where she developed Algorithmic Choreography. The project uses GPS as a form of choreography to explore new data visualization. She also led a data mapping workshop there in 2018.
