Natalia Naumova

Natalia Naumova is a sound artist, musician, photographer and cultural anthropologist. She came to Interface, an artist residency in Connemara, Ireland, through Artists at Risk. Her practice centres on field recordings that she slows, dissects and reworks, and she builds her own sound tools. She is also writing a master's thesis in anthropology on indigenous activism, based on fieldwork with marine mammal hunters in Chukotka.
