Natasha van Netten

Natasha van Netten is a visual artist who works largely with whales and other marine subjects, using drawing, painting, printmaking, and installation. In March 2025 she was a resident at the Sointula Art Shed on Malcolm Island, British Columbia. Her residency blog describes work on local orcas, including linocut prints, gouache paintings for a MERS fundraiser, and an installation counting the Northern Resident killer whale population.
