Nicole Barakat

Nicole Barakat is a Kfarsghabi Lebanese artist based in Sydney on Gadigal land. Her practice uses textiles, deep listening and intuitive processes, and draws on ancestral knowledge including coffee divination and flower essences. She was a Creative Australia resident at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris in 2023. Her work has been shown and programmed through the Biennale of Sydney and Story Week 2025.
