Nils Peterson

Nils Peterson is described on a Porrúa listing as the first poet laureate of Silicon Valley. His memoir Talk in the Reading Room, published as an ebook by Wordrunner eChapbooks, looks back on his childhood as the son of a New York chauffeur and his college years in Eastern Kentucky. The listing also says he belongs to the last generation to grow up without TV or coed dormitories.
