NINI RUIZ

Nini Ruiz is a Belgian visual artist who works in photography, ceramics, and film. She graduated in Photography from LUCA School of Arts in 2015 and works from VONK Ateliers in Hasselt. In 2022 she took part in the Back to Basics residency at Arteles Art Center in Finland, and GUP Magazine named her a Fresh Eyes talent in 2022 and 2023. For her KORDON residency on Hiiumaa she plans to combine 6x6 analogue photography with digital tools, looking at how isolation changes the act of looking.
