Nkateko Masinga

Nkateko Masinga is a South African writer, performance poet and scholar. Her interests include narrative medicine, life writing and social justice. Her current work looks at the complicated relationships between daughters and their mothers. She was shortlisted for the 2023 Evaristo Prize for African Poetry, and her work has been translated into several languages.
