NYALA HONDA

Nyala Honda is a Providence-based ceramic artist whose work uses genre painting, mapping and collage-like narratives to explore place, secrecy and self. She trained at the University of Georgia's Lamar Dodd School of Art, earning BFA degrees in Ceramics and Art Education. She completed a two-year ceramics residency at The Steel Yard and later joined its staff as Director of Learning and Impact.
