Oli D'Cruz

Oli D'Cruz (born 1996 in Goa, India) is a Groningen-based artist and filmmaker who works with video, animation, sculpture and puppetry. Their work examines how systems of extraction affect bodies and land, drawing on ecofeminism and the environmental humanities. They were resident at Kunsthuis SYB in Beetsterzwaag in 2023 to research a new film on dowsing and landscape. They were also shortlisted for the Sybren Hellinga Kunstprijs in 2022.
