Oriol Mora

Oriol Mora is a Catalan contemporary painter who lives and works in Barcelona. His colourful, ironic paintings draw on literature and nature, and are built up from layers of colour into recognizable characters or symbols. His latest work uses 'painted words' to comment ironically on everyday issues. He was a resident artist at KulttuuriKauppila in July 2022.
