Owen Buffington

Owen Buffington is a mixed-media artist whose drawings draw on maps, blueprints, plans, and diagrams to build personal geographies of everyday places. He earned an MFA in drawing from the University of Arkansas in 2017 and a BA in geography and urban studies from Macalester College in 2004. He was the 2017-2018 Artist-in-Residence at LUX Center for the Arts in Lincoln, Nebraska. He now teaches at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith and works in the Fayetteville, Arkansas area.
