Patrick Boyd

Patrick Boyd is a holographic artist who makes animated holograms from sequences of photographic footage, often of everyday events. He also works with pulse laser holography, building staged fictional scenes told through objects. His series Morris Dancers (2016/17) captures the English Morris dance tradition through layered, bystander-style views. Boyd holds an MA from the Royal College of Art, London, and has exhibited in the UK, the US and Japan.
