Paul C. Gardère
Paul C. Gardère (1944–2011) was a Haitian-born visual artist who worked in watercolor, ink, and mixed media on paper. He was an artist-in-residence at the Studio Museum in Harlem in 1989–90, where his 1990 work 'Conflict' is in the museum's collection. His series 'The Heads' (1989–1991) was recently shown at EXPO CHICAGO 2026.
