Peter Valente

Peter Valente is a poet, translator, photographer and filmmaker. He has published poetry and essays in journals including First Intensity and Aufgabe, and his early work appeared in Mirage #4/Periodical. His translations include works by Nanni Balestrini, Pierre Lepori, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Gérard de Nerval and Antonin Artaud, and he has also translated Ancient Greek and Latin authors. His collaboration with Kevin Killian, Ekstasis, was published by BlazeVOX [books] in 2017, pairing Valente's photographs with Killian's text.
