Phyllis Schwartz

Phyllis Schwartz is a collage and photography artist based in Victoria, British Columbia, who was born in Brooklyn, raised in Texas, and moved to Western Canada in the 1970s. She works with handmade collage built from magazine clippings, and her photographs have appeared in PhotoEd and Aeonian. She collaborates with Edward Peck on community-based art projects and is a member of the Metchosin ArtPod Gallery. Her work was included in Kolaj Institute's 2025 Photography & Collage Virtual Artist Residency and a related PhotoNOLA exhibition in New Orleans.
